Thoughtful message from patient’s family

Thank you to the Augenstein Family for taking the time to write such a thoughtful message. Your kindness is deeply appreciated by our entire crew and all the members of the BHVRS. It is our pleasure and honor to help our fellow neighbors in their time of need. We are glad your son is feeling better and Goldie has a new friend! – Joe, Arlene, Carolyn & Ben

Original post from BH Community Forum:
Wanted to express my gratitude to the Berkeley Heights Police Department & the Berkeley Heights Rescue Squad. Last night my son had a bad croup attack and was having a lot of trouble breathing. Usually we are able to calm him down but this time it came on so suddenly & it sounded different than it normally does. They were all so wonderful with him (& especially me – who clearly can not handle emergency situations because I was a basket case). We are so lucky to live in a town that has such an amazing police department & rescue squad. They gave my son a bean bag fish that he named Goldie & he will not part with it. If any of you are on Facebook, thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💗💗💗💗💗💗
