Our amazing friend Leah is at it again! Today, she held her second annual lemonade stand to raise money for the BHVRS! Thank you so much, Leah, we are lucky to have a friend like you!!

One of our crews took a trip to Rita’s and ended up doing some impromptu ambulance tours!! We love telling the community about what we do and showing them our ambulances!

The Towne Club in New Providence made a very generous donation to the squad, as well as, Summit & New Providence Rescue Squad. The Towne Club President, Ann Fahey kindly presented our chief with a check for $700 in appreciation for the service we provide our community. Thank you very much to the Towne Club!!

The squad had a great time at Bikes for Brooke today! One of our members participated in the event and others gave ambulance tours. We love to see such big support for an incredible cause!!

Congratulations to our regular member, Jim Cline, on receiving the EMT Excellence Award at Overlook’s Annual Excellence in EMS Awards Dinner. Jim is very deserving of the award and we are so thankful for all of the work that he puts into the squad. Thank you Jim, and congratulations!

The squad had a blast at Columbia Middle School’s Enrichment Day! We got to show the middle school students how to use some of our equipment and the different aspects of the ambulance.

Today, the BHVRS, Mountainside Rescue Squad, Berkeley Heights Fire Department, Berkeley Heights Police, and Mountainside Police Department re-enacted a fatal drunk driving accident for the students of Governor Livingston High School. We hope that this made everyone aware of the horrible consequences of drunk driving. Stay safe!!
